When I was in the 6th Form (age 17/18) I hung about with a couple of friends who were very stage struck. We used to get the bus into Bath every Wednesday, buy "standing" tickets (literally, for the standing room at the back of the circle-they were really cheap!) & go to the theatre almost every week. Because Kate wanted to hang around at the stage door & get autographs, we all did. I think it did teach me that most (famous) people, most of the time, are OK with being told "thankyou, I really enjoy what you do" I'm actuallyreally bad at stalking because I have such poor facial recognitian skills that I can't recognise people easily, even if they are famous, unless they have really distinctive faces. ( of course, you don't have that particular problem if you are waiting for somone after a one-man show!)
